Thank you Farmington PD!

First of all we had a great weekend.  Then came TERRIBLE Monday.  I had a doctor's appointment and it was awful.  I was really excited about this appt. because for you 6 month appointment you do not meet with your OB doctor, just the RN to talk about at the gestational diabetes test.  So I have not seen Dr. H in a while and I of course had my notebook full of questions and research that I had read and wanted to ask her about.  We had waited in our exam room for a while and all of a sudden a doctor comes into our room with our chart and starts asking me how I am feeling and if I have any questions.  I was blown away- after a minute of playing nice, I looked at her and said "I'm sorry, am I not getting to see Dr. H today?"  She said I don't know, you were on my case load today.  She was nice but short and did a quick exam, we listened to Lawson (the only good thing that happened) and then she was gone.  She never introduced herself to us and the whole thing took a total of maybe 5 minutes.  Uggh, something had happened and Dr. H was not there that day.  I wish they had told me when I checked in- I would have gladly rescheduled my appointment.  I love Dr. H and I had a lot of things I wanted to discuss with her since I have not seen her in a while- I was so upset when I left.  Of course, I'm a little emotional these days, but I cried and cried- then I was ticked and then I cried some more.  Ugh, I hate the doctor's office sometimes.  I did sign up for birthing, breastfeeding and infant CPR classes yesterday though and turned in all my paperwork for my admission into the hospital.  That was about the only good to come out of yesterday.
Here's the point of the post though- Adam told me while we were waiting on Dr. H that his GPS was stolen out of his truck.  It was parked in our driveway all weekend.  He was ticked and I was upset.  Who takes crap that isn't theirs?  Not to mention, I leave the garage open all the time- It's just scary to think about people going through your stuff when you are right inside.  Today after I pulled into the drive way, a Farmington Police officer pulled up behind me.  He asked if we have had any trouble lately.  I told him that yes, I was actually going to call and fill out a police report today- we had a GPS stolen from my husbands truck.  He pulled out a big box of stuff and asked if one of these was ours.  I looked in the box and there she was, "Sexy Lexy" Adam's GPS.  She's a little banged up, but I know that Adam will be glad she's home.  He loves that thing!  The officer said he had been returning stuff all day, but he still had not found who had done this.
Thanks again Farmington PD!!  You guys are wonderful!
