...And it's fixed (mabe!?!)
I told you this was definitely a working progress. A lot of you have told me that you had trouble leaving comments- well I changed my settings and maybe the problem is fixed. If you don't have an account that is listed, you should be able to choose anonymous. If not, continue to call and email your comments- I'm loving catching up! :) Thanks for reading and hanging in there with us as we figure it all out!
Let there be... Furniture!
Yay, he's finally got a room of furniture- even if the nightstand is a loaner until ours comes in from backorder. Bedding and art pics coming soon!!

Why hello third trimester!
I feel like this pregnancy is flying by as we get even closer to meeting our precious little man. I'm really enjoying being pregnant. I don't understand all those who complain so much about it. I love that he is with me everywhere I go, and that he is totally dependant on me for his nutritional needs, and most of all I love feeling him move around inside of me. It's the most amazing feeling to know that Adam and I have created this baby together!
We are going to pick up the rest of Lawson's furniture tomorrow- most of it is in (all but the nightstand, but they are giving us a loaner to use). I've been waiting on furniture so that I could start organizing in there. His closet is a mess and I'm ready to get my label maker and baskets out and go to town in there! Lawson is not even here yet, and it already seems like is room is getting smaller by the week! I tell Adam all the time, it's time for a new house (although, he doesn't seem to see it that way!)
Pictures of Lawson's room and his beautiful shiny closet will be coming next week-

What a Bargain!!
You guys know that I have way too much of my Nanny in me to not LOVE a bargain. Yesterday, I was reading a blog- Baby Goodbuys. Obviously, as the name suggests, they have a whole list of baby bargains. I ended up ordering Pampers from Amazon (I LOVE Amazon!!) for a steal! First I used the 30% coupon and then I used my 20% coupon from my Parent's magazine and then I was able to use my $2 coupon from the Amazon site. Combine all this with free shipping- and WOW- I spent $35.39 on two cases of diapers- that's 376 diapers for little Lawson's hiney at a fabulous price! Just thought some of you might get as much of a thrill out of my bargain as I did :) Thank you Amazon and Baby Goodbuys!

Thank you Farmington PD!
First of all we had a great weekend. Then came TERRIBLE Monday. I had a doctor's appointment and it was awful. I was really excited about this appt. because for you 6 month appointment you do not meet with your OB doctor, just the RN to talk about at the gestational diabetes test. So I have not seen Dr. H in a while and I of course had my notebook full of questions and research that I had read and wanted to ask her about. We had waited in our exam room for a while and all of a sudden a doctor comes into our room with our chart and starts asking me how I am feeling and if I have any questions. I was blown away- after a minute of playing nice, I looked at her and said "I'm sorry, am I not getting to see Dr. H today?" She said I don't know, you were on my case load today. She was nice but short and did a quick exam, we listened to Lawson (the only good thing that happened) and then she was gone. She never introduced herself to us and the whole thing took a total of maybe 5 minutes. Uggh, something had happened and Dr. H was not there that day. I wish they had told me when I checked in- I would have gladly rescheduled my appointment. I love Dr. H and I had a lot of things I wanted to discuss with her since I have not seen her in a while- I was so upset when I left. Of course, I'm a little emotional these days, but I cried and cried- then I was ticked and then I cried some more. Ugh, I hate the doctor's office sometimes. I did sign up for birthing, breastfeeding and infant CPR classes yesterday though and turned in all my paperwork for my admission into the hospital. That was about the only good to come out of yesterday.
Here's the point of the post though- Adam told me while we were waiting on Dr. H that his GPS was stolen out of his truck. It was parked in our driveway all weekend. He was ticked and I was upset. Who takes crap that isn't theirs? Not to mention, I leave the garage open all the time- It's just scary to think about people going through your stuff when you are right inside. Today after I pulled into the drive way, a Farmington Police officer pulled up behind me. He asked if we have had any trouble lately. I told him that yes, I was actually going to call and fill out a police report today- we had a GPS stolen from my husbands truck. He pulled out a big box of stuff and asked if one of these was ours. I looked in the box and there she was, "Sexy Lexy" Adam's GPS. She's a little banged up, but I know that Adam will be glad she's home. He loves that thing! The officer said he had been returning stuff all day, but he still had not found who had done this.
Thanks again Farmington PD!! You guys are wonderful!

Beck, you're a girl after my own heart!!
Today I got my first shower invitation in the mail. You all know how important I think invites are and especially parties! This invite did not disappoint. Beck chose a sock monkey theme I'm sure because she know that I LOVE brown and I'm not really into super baby-ish stuff. I am in love with the precious invite, with matching address labels and even personalized stamps! I can't wait for the shower- we're going to have a ball!
Thanks again Beck!!

Great Weekend with lots of progress!
This was Adam's 29th birthday weekend and it was great! He got to go to the movies, take several naps (which was all he said he wanted), got a new iphone, and got his favorite birthday cookie. Somehow in the middle of all that Adam and his Dad put together Lawson's crib and we went to dinner with his family on Saturday evening after church. Sunday morning, Mom and Mike came up and we all worked on and finished up Lawson's cornice board, I still need to buy two more curtain panels to make the curtains thicker on each side, so hopefull I can get that done this week. His bedroom is a work in progress but it is coming along slowly but surely. I am meeting with Angela from Keep It Gypsy on Tuesday to talk about what art she is going to paint for our sweet boys room. I have to admit, the best part of the weekend was Sunday night. Adam's parents came over again and the boys put in a window air conditioner into our master bedroom. It just seems to get so hot in there, (althoug Adam does not feel that way!) The only way I got to put it in was by promising Adam that I would not buy one (my Dad gave me one) and that we would only keep it in for one month, to get us through the heat of August. Here are a few pics from this busy weekend!
