We've had a cold winter, but this tops the charts! We had 21-22 inches of snow fall in our backyard. Adam, Lawson, and I have spent time snuggled up together playing and staying warm. Grandpa Shores, Uncle Jordan, and Aunt Nikki did come visit though. They wanted to get out and see the snow and come have warm peanut butter cookies :-)

Lawson's First Christmas
I know Lawson is still a baby and he has no idea what Christmas is all about, but it has been a ball for Adam and I. We've had so much fun decorating, buying, having pictures made, and baking. Christmas was a whirlwind celebration this year. We spent Christmas eve in Alma at my Grandma Joy's house, then in Bella Vista at Adam's aunt and uncle's house, then we spent Christmas day at my Mother's house. On the 26th, we had Shores Christmas at our house. It was wonderful to be with our family and show Lawson off. I'm really not sure what we'll do with all his gifts. I'm pretty sure Adam needs to buy us a bigger house! I'm going to start working on that, we'll see how it goes!

Like Milk through a nipple, these are the days of my life!
Lawson is a little over 2 months old now. Wow, that has gone too fast! He's getting so big and his little personality (and temper) sure are starting to show themselves. Lawson has had a big weekend, we traveled to Little Rock so that he could attend his first wedding of a dear college friend. Lawson did such a great job! No crying and he looked too adorable! I'm so grateful that my son is such a wonderful car rider!
Adam and I are deckin' the halls this weekend and I'm so looking forward to it! I love that even though our little man is still so tiny, Santa Claus will be stopping by our house and it's important to get things in tip top shape for him! We're going to start with this precious stocking for Lawson that my mother made. She's finishing up the matching ones for Adam and me! I'm certain that this will be our next blog entry.
Finally, here is a picture of how I have spent my free time for the past two months. This is a weeks worth of excess breast milk that I was freezing. I feel like all I do is pump the milk, make the bottles, wash the bottles, and freeze the milk! Oh well, it's all for Lawson so I see much more of this super fun ritual in my future!

Well?!? Will we ever all be well again?
Well Lawson turned 7 weeks old yesterday, and due to two pesky ear infections we had to return to the doctor again. We've been to the doctor at least once every week since the little man has been home. He's doing better now and yesterday he weighed 9lbs and 3oz. It freaked me out a little, but Doc Silvey assured me that he is not too big and that he's actually only in the 15th percentile. I think we finally have Lawson's food, sleep, and reflux figured out and he seems to finally be doing much better! ( I hope I didn't jinx it!!) Lawson is also starting to get a little bit of a personality and also showing off his red headed temper! :) We're having a great time as a new family- who knew that pee, poop, spit-up, and no sleep could be so rewarding and most of all so much fun!! It's like I'm playing house (only it's for real now!) I'm so in love with the boys in my life!
Hagin' out in my lights and bouncy chair from Ms. Shanna!
More naked tummy time! He's started just falling asleep like this!
Just relaxin'
Hanging around while Mommy makes dinner.
Uncle Jordy helping get me dressed! (I wish he would change my diaper and wipe my hiney!)
Chillin' in the crib
Kicked back while Mommy entertains me with dorky faces and noises!

Lawson's One Month Old!
Wow, this has been the most wonderful month of our life (also the quickest!) Lawson has finally met all of his grandparents, uncles, and aunts. We're not even close to meeting all his cousins- but there's plenty of time! Lawson has not been feeling well for the past week or so. He has been put on a prescription for his acid reflux and for an eye infection. He seems to be getting more alert everyday and is changing so fast. At almost 5 weeks old, he has finally hit the 8 pound mark! Yay, he's a growin' boy! Here are a few pictures of his busy month!!
Uncle Jordy (Aunt Nikki showed up after I put my camera up)
Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Amanda
Aunt Lyndsey and Cousin Camden (they are going to be the best of friends!)
Uncle Mark
My Grandma Joy
Adam's grandparents, Ray and Betty
Nanny and PaPaw
Lawson's fist walk- he LOVES to be pushed in his stroller!
Play time with all three of my boys!
Our little pumpkin!
Our precious blessing!

3 Weeks old tomorrow!
Wow, the past three weeks have been a whirlwind, I've not had much time to blog. Here's a super quick update, hopefully I will have more in a day or so!
We went to the pediatrician again yesterday and Lawson is back to his birth weight, yay!! The pediatrician keeps assuring Adam and I that everything is great- but after such a rocky start, we seem to worry about everything!
Here is a picture from Lawson's newborn photo shoot, we can't wait to get all the proofs!!
